David Haddad, Ed.D.
David Haddad, Ed.D. is a licensed psychologist and systems therapist, who combines his skills in Appreciative Inquiry and positive psychology with his interest in meditation and mindfulness to facilitate his work with organizations in the profit and non-profit sectors. In over 30 years of practice, David has helped clients to identify and maximize their individual strengths and resources. Along with his colleague Claire Fialkov, David established the consultation practice Appreciative Action, which focuses on helping clients cultivate their capacity for intention and self-reflection in service of building appreciative organizations. His work in Health Care Agencies, Community Mental Health and Higher Education has focused on helping individuals, managers, and leaders further organizational goals through self-reflection. Dr. Haddad is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor in The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a member of The American Family Therapy Academy (AFTA). David holds a faculty appointment at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry. In addition, he teaches in the graduate program at Fitchburg State College and maintains a private practice in central Massachusetts.
